АMR CSD/GPRS
The most popular use of AMR CSD/GPRS is alternative energy, solar power plants (SPP), wind power plants (WPP). The AMR system based on the CSD/GPRS technology transmits data using the GSM/GPRS cellular network and the Internet. Thanks to the global coverage of territories, these types of communication became available not only in cities, but also in rural areas. If there is a cellular connection at the facility, it is enough to connect a GSM modem with a SIM card to poll the meter. The advantages of this system are the reliability of data transmission, simplicity and the absence of USPD, repeaters and other devices. Minus – payment of communication services to the network operator.
This type of AMR is intended for receiving from isolated objects located at a great distance from each other. This can be gas stations, railway stations, cottage cooperatives, sparsely populated cities, solar stations, wind generators. The Matrix AMM software is used to read readings from various objects, most often remote and distributed over the area, because GSM is used as the main communication channel as the most common and available wireless channel. In this case, the most budget-friendly option for organizing energy resource accounting without additional functions (management, etc.) is the option of connecting GSM modems directly to accounting devices.
